The Field Sales Trainer will provide in-field and classroom training for members of our sales team and work with existing Sales Representatives (Wireless Experts) and Store Managers to improve performance. Through role-play, observation, coaching and communication, the Sales Trainer will ensure achievement of individual, team, and retail sales objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated personality, capable of thriving in a fast-paced and high energy sales environment.

 

Responsibilities/Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-the-job training of key sales techniques and management skills.
  • Provide mentorship, continuing education and ongoing training for all Sales Staff: Wireless Experts, Store Leads and Store Managers.
  • Work one-on-one with sales staff to reinforce skills taught during training sessions.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training by analyzing sales metrics and implementing suggestions for improvement.
  • Reinforce execution of key company goals, promotions, policies and standards.

 

Duties:

  • Become an expert on all aspects of products, services, plans, promotions, sales techniques, best practices, activations procedures , credit and customer qualification processes.
  • Identify key tactics, methods and opportunities in HIGH performing stores to be used as business model for other locations.
  • Identify and diagnose most important ongoing sales gaps in under-performing stores.
  • Develop formal action plans to resolve sales gaps and implement positive performance.
  • Design, implement and maintain performance metrics that identify training effectiveness and efficiencies.

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree: equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted instead.
  • Minimum of two years experience in retail /sales industry.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members delivering quality documentation or curriculum with aggressive time lines.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Position requires approximately 70% travel.
