Simply Wireless is currently seeking a Floor Manager for our Distribution Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. The Floor Manager will be responsible for the logistics and supply chain management of 100 plus retail locations as well as other avenues of business, including QVC and the Home Shopping Network.  The candidate must have proven leadership abilities and be able to work well in a deadline driven environment.  They will manage up to 10 people daily and up to 50 people during times of high volume.  We offer a wonderful work environment with benefits and growth potential.  Come and join our winning team of professionals!

Duties:

• Responsible for assisting the Distribution Center Manager in the successful and timely flow of production work. Assist with and oversee all work that is set-up during the day.
• Establish and maintain designated work areas and arrange as needed: ensure orderly and safe conditions at all times. Ensure proper working condition of work areas, tools, fixtures and equipment: arrange for repairs/replacements as needed.
• Responsible for working with the Distribution Center Manager to ensure accurate and timely shipping and receiving of all products
• Assist in keeping inventory accurate/current and notify Distribution Center Manager of counts and needed inventory.
• Recommend tools, fixtures, equipment or layout changes to improve work flow, productivity, recommend improved methods, records, etc. to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Monitor and provide for the quality assurance of the shipped product and delivery date deadlines necessary for each product.
• Function in a semi-supervisory capacity to facilitate work flow and activities required.
• Perform other duties as required by the nature of the position or as required by Supervisor.
